Former Florida governor endorses candidacy of Romney
The pre-Republican candidate Mitt Romney easily won the primary in Illinois. The manager had 46.7% of the vote and must ensure that 43 of the 53 delegates were at stake in the primary. The runner-up, Rick Santorum, got 35% of the vote and should get the other 10 delegates. Right behind were Congressman Ron Paul, with 9.3% and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, with 8% of the preference.
